How To Use WINZIP on your downloaded filesFirst, visit WINZIP and download the FREE evaluation version of the program.Once you've downloaded Winzip to
your computer (ie. your Desktop), the program will open when you double
click on any Winzip file (like the
demo disk you downloaded from our website). Winzip
files look like a small coloured vice or clamp.
A box will then open giving you 3 options: I AGREE, QUIT and ORDERING INFORMATION. Click on I AGREE. A window will then open showing you the files that are on that particular disk. From the large buttons along the top of the newly opened box, click on EXTRACT. Another window will open giving you the chance to specify where you want to unzip the files to. In our case it's to a floppy disk (usually your 'A' Drive)Make sure you have a blank floppy disk in the floppy drive of your PC, and click on the floppy drive in the FOLDERS/DRIVES window in the middle of the newly opened box. It's usually the "A" drive for the floppy disk drive. If you've highlighted it (so it's coloured in blue), click on the EXTRACT button to the right of that window. You should then hear your floppy drive whirl into action and begin collecting the zipped up files. This may take up to a minute or so until it's completed and all goes quiet. That's it!Simply take the disk out of your PC and run it on your keyboard/organ as an ordinary disk.Let me know if you have any further problems, or if you don't understand any of this.
